CatRally Privacy Policy

1. Overview
CatRally (回合猫) is provided by Ningxia Zhimafu Information Technology Co., Ltd. (宁夏芝麻福信息技术有限公司). It is an on-device AI video editing app for table tennis, badminton, pickleball, and tennis match videos.
Our core privacy principle is that selected videos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. The current version contains no advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use advertising tracking.
2. Content the App Does Not Collect or Upload
The current version of CatRally does not actively collect or upload the following content to our servers:
- Your original match videos.
- Frame-by-frame AI prediction results.
- Detected rally clips, favorite clips, or exported videos.
- A list of the contents of your photo library.
- Contacts, location, microphone, or camera information.
- Advertising identifiers or data used for advertising tracking.
If a future version adds accounts, cloud sync, crash reporting, analytics, advertising SDKs, or other third-party services, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before enabling them.
3. Photo Library and File Access
With your permission, CatRally accesses the photo library so you can select videos for local analysis and editing. This access is used to read a video you select, its duration, encoding information, and local availability, and to save an exported video when you request it.
If a selected video is stored in iCloud, Apple Photos may need to download it to the device. CatRally does not receive your iCloud password and does not upload that video to our servers.
When you choose “Save to Files,” Apple's system file picker lets you select iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, or another available location. The app writes only the export you requested to the location you selected.
4. On-Device Analysis and Storage
CatRally runs its AI models and video post-processing on your device. To provide history, interruption recovery, repeat exports, favorites, trials, and purchase status, the app may store the following on the device, in its app container, or in secure system storage:
- Analysis history, a local identifier for the source video, rally time boundaries, and analysis summaries.
- Favorite folders, ratings, notes, and other favorite information you create.
- Local thumbnails and temporary export files.
- The first-analysis time, trial and extension status, and basic usage state.
- Apple purchase entitlement information and its local cache, such as whether a subscription is active, its expiration date, or revocation status.
This app data is not uploaded to our servers. You can clear relevant history and favorites in the app, or delete the app to remove data in its app container. Videos saved to Photos, iCloud Drive, or another file location are controlled by that system service and must be deleted there.
5. Purchases and Payments
CatRally's monthly subscription and lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment details, card information, billing information, and refunds. We do not receive your complete payment information.
To determine whether premium features are available, the app reads product and verified transaction entitlement information supplied by Apple on the device. This may include a product identifier, whether a purchase is valid, a subscription expiration date, and whether a transaction has been revoked. The app uses this information to grant, restore, or end the corresponding entitlement.
6. Information You Provide When Contacting Support
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message content, and any diagnostic information or files you choose to include. We use this information only to respond, investigate the issue, protect the service, and comply with applicable law, and retain it only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
Do not send unrelated sensitive information or videos you are not authorized to share. You may use the contact address below to request deletion of information supplied in support communications, except where retention is required by law.
7. Sharing and Third-Party Services
The current version does not sell or rent personal information and does not send original videos to advertising or analytics services.
Apple may process relevant information as the provider of the App Store, StoreKit, Photos, iCloud, and system file services. Apple's processing is governed by its privacy policy and terms. If you email us, email service providers also process the message to transmit and store it.
8. Retention, Deletion, and Your Rights
Local history, favorites, and analysis results remain on your device until you clear them in the app or delete the app. You can manage exported files in Photos or the Files app.
Where provided by applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you voluntarily provided to us, and may request restriction of or object to its processing. Contact us using the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority in your location.
9. Children's Privacy
CatRally is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app. If a parent or guardian believes that a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as features, legal requirements, or operations change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through our website, the app, or another appropriate method.
